Laufzeit
12/2022 – 12/2026
The main goal of the project is to enhance the knowledge on the pollution sources and pathways impacting on groundwater quality, that will allow the design of effective at-source preventive measures to protect EU groundwater bodies.
The second goal is to mitigate the infiltration of pollutants in the aquifer by deploying novel bio-based solutions. Intermediate objectives will be defined to develop and validate monitoring, analytical methods, source apportionment and hydrogeological modelling, risk assessment and finally, cooperative decision-making for future groundwater management.
